SABR Member Benefit Spotlight: Subscribe to the Baseball Research Journal
DECEMBER 13, 2023 — As a SABR member, you have vast resources and benefits at your disposal. With so much information at your fingertips, we realize it can be overwhelming to absorb it all! To highlight key benefits, read on for a SABR Member Benefit Spotlight, an email series that identifies and explains some of the most valuable features of your membership. We hope this allows you to take full advantage of all SABR has to offer.
Today’s issue shows you how to take advantage of the new Baseball Research Journal subscription.
SUBSCRIBE TO THE BASEBALL RESEARCH JOURNAL
Established in 1972, the Baseball Research Journal (BRJ) was created so that members could publish and share their research with like-minded students of baseball. Today, BRJ provides a unique mix of cutting-edge baseball research and historical and biographical articles. It is published twice annually, once in the spring and once in the fall.
Beginning in 2024, all SABR members will exclusively receive the BRJ electronically. However, if you are interested in a paperback copy of the publication for your personal library, we have rolled out a subscription option at a significantly discounted rate: $7 per issue for members, compared to $19.95 at retail.
- To subscribe and receive a printed edition of BRJ, visit SABR.org/subscribe
(If you have any questions about your subscription, please email brjsubscribe@sabr.org.)
Make sure you are signed into your SABR account to receive your discount. For our international members, please note the separate international orders option for those living outside of the United States. With your subscription, you will receive a paperback copy of the BRJ as well as an electronic version delivered to your email inbox. You will be charged semi-annually for this subscription, once for each edition of BRJ.
Here’s a short video on how to subscribe to printed copies of BRJ:
Of course, if you have any questions or need any assistance in subscribing to BRJ, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
