SABR Institutional Memberships
SABR’s newest membership type, the Institutional Membership, is a great way to extend the organization’s valuable resources to your department, organization, or institution! This membership provides external organizations an opportunity to partner with SABR and extend the benefits of SABR membership to their affiliates. Ideal candidates for an Institutional Membership are libraries, historical societies, museums, higher education departments, sports analytics programs, and more. If access to SABR resources and our community can be value-adds for an organization you know, then please consider reaching out to us about adding them as a partner.
Institutional Membership Benefits
Institutional Members receive:
- Unlimited access to SABR’s extensive collection of digital publications
- Exclusive research resources, including access to historical newspaper databases
- Two (2) hard copies of the Baseball Research Journal sent to the organization
- Engagement opportunities with SABR experts and a network of baseball historians and analysts
- Coordination with SABR on customized programming opportunities
- Discounted licensing rates for the SABR Team Employee Database and Weiss Baseball Questionnaires
What does an Institutional Membership include?
A baseline Institutional Membership starts with five (5) individual memberships. Organizations then have the opportunity to add additional memberships, for students and non-students, at a discounted rate.
