SABR-Authored Go-Go to Glory now available
The collective energy and knowledge of SABR members is once again in evidence in Go-Go to Glory: The 1959 Chicago White Sox. Editor Don Zminda and Associate Editors R.J. Lesch, Len Levin, and Bill Nowlin have assembled the work of several dozen SABR members and friends to assemble this celebration of the team that ended a forty-year pennant drought on Chicago’s South Side.

Larry Doby, Nellie Fox, Hank Greenberg, Ted Kluszewski, Bubba Phillips, Al Smith, Early Wynn and every other player, coach, broadcaster, and front office personnel who played a role in the White Sox’ 1959 season is profiled in an original biography. Career statistics for each player are also included. Go-Go to Glory is an outgrowth of SABR’s highly successful online BioProject, which will soon publish its 1,000th biography.
