Dyer: Crosley Field memorial site to start mural

The Crosley Field memorial site is tentatively scheduled to begin work on a mural at its location the week before Reds’ Opening Day 2016.
The Reds host the Phillies on Opening Day 2016, which is scheduled for April 4 at Great American Ball Park.
The campus of the City Gospel Mission in Queensgate is on the site of the former Reds ballpark. The campus has a replica light standard and foul poles.
Tim Curtis, spokesman for the City Gospel Mission, said the Crosley Field mural will be painted on the backside of the second building on the corner of York Street and Dalton Avenue and is tentatively scheduled to be completed by the end of May 2016.
