Al Quimby

Al Quimby has been an SABR member since the late 1970’s. As a long-time member of the Biographical Research Committee, he has sought missing major leaguer birth and death data. He had some early successes, but has bogged down in recent years researching the likes of Creed Bates, Jack Dalton, and Charles Petty. After retiring from a career as an FBI agent, Al became a self-employed FileMaker Pro database developer. Married, he and his wife have lived in the Nashville, TN area since 1967, and have 2 great daughters and 4 wonderful grand-children.
