Brendan Schuster
/in /by Bill NowlinBrendan Schuster has always had a love for sports, with a particular soft spot for baseball. An avid collector of baseball cards, a spark was fully ignited for the hobby as a boy when his father bestowed his own incomplete baseball and football sets from the 1950s upon him. After his father’s death, it became Schuster’s mission to finish his dad’s sets and have them graded. Schuster is an International Wholesale Supervisor with General Nutrition Center, LLC at the world headquarters based in Pittsburgh. A graduate from Slippery Rock University with a B.A. in Communication, he is a SABR member, co-author of the book Never Heard of Them Either, a Josh Gibson Foundation Unmarked Grave Committee Member, a world-wide sports card collector, and the creator of Facebook page Down From the Attic – Vintage Sports. Brendan enjoys coaching his kid’s baseball and softball teams, reading, lifting weights, and grave hunting. He is a Philadelphia native who now resides in the Pittsburgh suburb of Bethel Park with his wife Erika and three kids, Cogan, Cate, and Cara.
