Gerard Goulet
/in /by Jason BestGerard R. (Gerry) Goulet, of Warwick, Rhode Island, is now semi-retired after forty years in health care regulation as an analyst and attorney. Although he has been a member of SABR for 28 years, this is his first attempt at researching and writing about something as important as baseball history. A lifetime Red Sox fan, his juvenile enthusiasms for that organization have been tempered over time by the influence of his wife of 42 years, Julie, a lifetime Yankees fan. After many failed attempts at effecting her conversion, he has moved on to their two grand-children who, at this point, have potential as, at age 3 and 1 1/2 respectively, they are still too young to have developed allegiances.
