Irwin Nahinsky
/in /by sabrIRWIN NAHINSKY is professor emeritus at the University of Louisville, where he taught cognitive psychology and advanced statistics until his retirement in 1993. His prior effort in sabermetrics was an article in Perceptual and Motor Skills in 1994 demonstrating a significant tendency for teams to bounce back after a loss in the World Series. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Ph.D. degree, both in psychology, from the University of Minnesota. He has been a SABR member since 2010. He lives in Louisville but remains a loyal Twins fan.
