Mike Worley
/in /by Bill NowlinMike Worley has been a baseball fan since 1958, when he started following his hometown Minneapolis Millers, a team his great-grandfather, Frank Mullane, played for in 1901. In 1973, Mike and his wife, Ann, entered a contest sponsored by the Grain Belt Brewery for a billboard design. Their submission, “Fielder’s Choice”, with a Grain Belt bottle in a fielder’s glove, was featured on the scoreboard at Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, Minnesota, in the mid-1970s. Mike retired in 2020 after 28 years with the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation.
