Jay Jaffe is a senior writer for FanGraphs, author of The Cooperstown Casebook and creator of the JAWS (Jaffe WAR Score) metric for Hall of Fame analysis. He founded the Futility Infielder website, was a columnist for Baseball Prospectus, a contributing writer for Sports Illustrated, and a contributor to more than a dozen books including Baseball Prospectus’ Extra Innings.
