Emil Rothe Chapter meeting recap – 4/19/2014

Fifty enthusiastic baseball fans attended our Emil Rothe Chapter Wrigley Field Centennial meeting on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Cliff Dwellers was a great meeting room with a spectacular view of the lakefront.

Brian Bernardoni shared his fantastic collection of memorabilia about Wrigley, including Opening Day in 1914 and even china from Weeghams restaurant.

Each presenter was truly an expert who entertained with informative and personal presentations. We could have had another 20 minutes with each of them. Hopefully some of them can be repeated at the 2015 convention.

It made it all the more interesting to watch the WGN special Sunday night, including Ed Sherman and Babe Ruth’s called shot.

I would love to hear from all of you about the centennial coverage tomorrow, especially from anyone at the game.

Thanks for all your support.
