Juan Marichal Chapter meeting recap – 3/10/2024
On Sunday, March 10, 2024, SABR’s Juan Marichal Chapter held a meeting following the Tampa Bay Rays-Boston Red Sox game at Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal in Santo Domingo. The meeting was held at the Salon Aries at the Hotel Barcelo.

Julio M. Rodriguez was co-editor of SABR’s 2022 book Dominicans in the Major Leagues, available in both English and Spanish.
Before the meeting, Julio and his wife Josefina presented Bill Nowlin with a plaque appreciating his return to Santo Domingo for the first time since 2000, when the Red Sox last played there.
