More than 30 registered participants from around the country gathered in Cleveland the weekend of April 24-26 to celebrate the winner of the Seymour Medal and share some great baseball research and writing.

More than 30 registered participants from around the country gathered in Cleveland the weekend of April 24-26 to celebrate the winner of the Seymour Medal and share some great baseball research and writing.

On Friday, April 24, Medal winner Tom Swift (photo left) read from and spoke about the writing process of his award-winning book, Chief Bender’s Burden, and later took questions from the audience. Presenters and participants mingled and talked about writing and baseball in a new venue for SABR–The LIT, Cleveland’s literary nonprofit.
