On the occasion of the movie “Moneyball” (“the Strategist” in the French version) on November 16, we went to the meeting of Alain Usereau, Member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) organization recognized internationally for [its] work on the history of baseball and who gave [its] name to the new statistical analysis described in the book and movie “Moneyball, The Art of Winning Unfair Game year”: the sabermetrics.

Alain Usereau is a journalist and sports columnist since 1989. He currently works for Radio-Canada and Réseau des Sports (RDS). Leading expert in baseball, including the Montreal Expos, he released a book in 2009 “the glorious days of the Expos.”
