Beta release for 2014 Lahman Baseball Database available

A beta version of the 2014 database is available now from the download page in three formats: CSV, Microsoft Access and SQL.
I’m hoping that early adopters and hardcore database users can do some field testing and let me know if there are any problems to be resolved. Please send any feedback to my by email or post your questions/comments/concerns to our discussion group.
Two changes to the schema that you should be aware of, particularly if you’re using the data in an existing third party application. Two fields have been removed from the Batting table (G_batting and G_Old), and the SchoolsPlayers table has been replaced with a new, more robust table called CollegePlaying. More details are available in the readme file.
