Brisbee: The Giants defeated Clayton Kershaw for the 11th time, but it goes deeper than that

From SABR member Grant Brisbee at The Athletic on June 8, 2019:

The Giants defeated the Dodgers, 2-1, on Friday night. It was definitely the biggest sports event happening in the Bay Area, and you should probably head to the office on Saturday morning to see if everybody gathered around the water cooler on their day off to talk about it. Oh, man, that is a huge deal. Can you imagine? Kershaw looking like nothing more than a very, very good pitcher who is excellent at what he does, instead of a demigod who can throw a curveball back through time in a way that prevents your mom from meeting your dad? The mind boggles.
