Dietz: SABR member Ted Knorr raises awareness for Negro Leaguer Rap Dixon

From Jason Dietz at ABC 27 News on October 6, 2015, with mention of SABR member Ted Knorr:

Ted Knorr joined us in the studio to discuss a largely unknown Steelton baseball player who played at a professional level from 1924 to 1938.

“Herbert “Rap” Dixon was a child of first generation out-of-slavery African-Americans born in Kingston,GA who was raised in Steelton, PA. In 2006, a committee appointed by the National Baseball Hall of Fame named Rap Dixon as one of the 12 greatest Negro League outfielders of all-time.”
