He started in center field the day he was called up and has started all but 18 games since he came up.

[Christian] Walker moved to the top of the Diamondbacks’ first base depth chart when Paul Goldschmidt was traded to St. Louis and Jake Lamb strained his quadriceps just a week into the season. He’s started all but 19 games at first base this year and was the team’s designated hitter in a couple of interleague games.
