Pelletier, Lambert, Becerra, Ehrlich win inaugural Dr. Mike Marshall Baseball Biomechanics Research Award

Conner Pelletier, Jack Lambert, Anthony Becerra, and Sam Ehrlich were announced as the winners of the inaugural Dr. Mike Marshall Baseball Biomechanics Research Award on March 15, 2025, at the SABR Analytics Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
The award was created through the support of Deborah Marshall and Dr. Mike Marshall’s Pitching Academia and named in honor of the maverick former major-league pitcher. This award honors the legacy of Dr. Marshall by encouraging the study of baseball biomechanics and its application in further understanding pitching, with an emphasis on the risks, causes and/or prevention of pitching injury. The recipient will receive a prize of $2,500.
Pelletier and Lambert were honored for their presentation at the 2025 SABR Analytics Conference on “The Interaction of Command and Biomechanics for Pitchers.”
Pelletier is a Product Engineer at Driveline Baseball, specializing in extracting and delivering data-driven insights from diverse sources and pipelines. Lambert is the Director of Baseball Operations at Driveline Baseball, where he specializes in quantitative modeling and developing deliverables for professional athletes.
