SABR 54: Join us in the SABR Clubhouse at the Cleveland convention
At SABR 54 in Cleveland, join us in the brand-new SABR Clubhouse area — an interactive hub to connect, relax, and have fun with fellow attendees. Featuring vendor booths, poster presentations, office hours with SABR leaders, tutorials, and meetups, drop by the SABR Clubhouse for conversation starters, a new book, or to check out daily activities.
SABR’s 54th annual convention is scheduled for July 29–August 2, 2026, at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland hotel. The full schedule is now available online, including research presentations and committee meetings, along with transportation tips and area attractions in and around Cleveland. All baseball fans are welcome to attend.
Here are some of the activities we have planned for the SABR Clubhouse:
- Cast your vote for SABR’s All-Time Eras Team for the Integration Era (1947-1972)
- Office hours with SABR staff and board members, including Pat Filippone, Bruce McClure, Tara Krieger, Roberta J. Newman, and Bill Nowlin (12:30-2:30 PM Thursday); Scott Carter and Paul Zwirecki (2:00-3:00 PM Friday); and Dan Levitt, Allison Levin, Tyrone Brooks, Scott Bush, and Ken Carrano (12:00-2:00 PM Saturday).
- Socialize with other attendees at the Ross Adell First Time Attendee Coffee Talk (7:00-9:00 AM Thursday).
- A special presentation on Cleveland’s League Park, by Ken Krsolovic and Bryan Fritz, prior to the Cleveland Baseball History bus tour (11:30 AM Thursday).
- Watch a livestream of the Women’s Professional Baseball League opening game (5:00 PM Saturday).
- Demonstrations of the Dombrov Baseball Sim (9:00 AM Friday), Clark & Addison Gaming Co. (3:30 PM Friday), and Ball Park Baseball games (1:00 PM Saturday).
