SABR Announces Dates for 2008 Cleveland Convention
The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) is pleased to announce that its Annual Convention will come to Cleveland, Ohio, from Thursday, June 26 to Sunday, June 29, 2008.
The SABR Convention makes its first visit to Cleveland since 1990, when both Cleveland and SABR were very different. Cleveland now has Jacobs Field rather than old Municipal Stadium, a new wing for its outstanding public library, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a Sports Archives that features the SABR Archives at the Western Reserve Historical Society, and the Great Lakes Science Center, among many other attractions.
The SABR convention will take place at the historic Renaissance Hotel on Cleveland
