SABR Member Benefit Spotlight: SABR 50 convention registration
APRIL 21, 2022 — As a SABR member, you have vast resources and benefits at your disposal. With so much information at your fingertips, we realize it can be overwhelming to absorb it all! To highlight key benefits, read on for this month’s SABR Member Benefit Spotlight, an email series that identifies and explains some of the most valuable features of your membership. We hope this allows you to take full advantage of all SABR has to offer.
With baseball season in full bloom, we look forward to the summer where we will once again gather for our national convention.
SABR 50 Convention Registration
If you ask veteran members their favorite thing about SABR, many of them will quickly point to our convention. After a three-year wait to gather in person, SABR celebrates its 50th Annual Convention on August 17-21, 2022, in Baltimore. It’s safe to say SABR 50 is our most anticipated convention to date!
The annual SABR convention includes top featured speakers from around the baseball world — front office executives, players, managers, scouts, journalists, historians, and analysts — innovative panel discussions, groundbreaking research presentations, ballgames, the SABR Trivia Contest, Awards Luncheon, and most of all, the opportunity to make and renew baseball friendships.
We already have an All-Star lineup of speakers announced for Baltimore and we’ll make a trip to the famed Oriole Park at Camden Yards to catch an O’s vs. Red Sox game, among other exciting plans. The complete schedule, with more speakers and presentations, will be released soon.

For new SABR members who have joined the organization since we last met for a summer convention, we highly encourage you to attend and find your baseball people! We understand it may be a bit daunting without knowing exactly what to expect, but rest assured this event is a welcome gathering of the most passionate baseball fans you’ll meet anywhere. It’s a wonderful chance to celebrate our great game while making memories, building friendships, and having a blast!
