Seventeenth Cooperstown Symposium on Baseball and American Culture

The Cooperstown Symposium on Baseball And American Culture (held June 8-10, 2005), co-sponsored by the State University of New York at Oneonta and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, examines the impact of baseball on American culture from inter- and multi-disciplinary perspectives.

Proposals for papers are invited from all disciplines and all topics.  However, papers on baseball as baseball are not encouraged.  Submission is by abstract only.  Abstracts hould be narrative, limited to three type-written pages and a one page vitae.&nbs
