He is wearing a Boston Red Sox uniform. The caption underneath the photograph is partially missing, but the complete caption reads, "Harry Agganis was a fine college football player in addition to being a good major league prospect. Became a bonus player for the Red Sox and batted .251 participating in 132 games in 1954. However, he succumbed to a massive blood clot and passed away in 1955. His untimely death was a shock to both baseball and football fans everywhere."
