Paige was the starting pitcher for the West team. He is wearing a uniform that says Chicago across the jersey. He has his left hand on Campanella's left shoulder from behind. Campanella is wearing a jacket and a tie and is looking to his left at Gibson. She is wearing a coat and a blouse and smiling back at Campanella. The photograph is slightly from their left side. Information written on the physical slide reads, "Satchel Paige, Wilma Rudolph, Roy Campanella" Althea Gibson is incorrectly identified as Wilma Rudolph. See paigesa01_02.
