A 1986 Card Collectors 1951 Bowman Reprint baseball card of Leo Durocher. The back of card number 233 in the set reads, "Leo Durocher Manager - New York Giants Born: West Springfield, Mass., July 27, '06 Height: 5-9 Weight: 175 Bats: Right Throws: Right Began in organized baseball as a shortstop for Hartford of the Eastern League in 1925. Played in the majors with the Yankees, Reds, Cardinals, and Dodgers. Leo's playing career was apparently over in 1941, but he took part in a few games in 1943 and 1945. Managed the Dodgers for eight and one-half years, beginning with 1939. Became manager of the Giants in surprise move, July 1948. No. 233 in the 1951 series Baseball Picture Cards Reprint 1986 C.C.C."
