A 1986 Card Collectors 1951 Bowman Reprint baseball card of Chico Carrasquel. The back of card number 60 in the set reads, "Alfonso Carrasquel Shortstop - Chicago White Sox Born: Caracas, Venezuela, Jan. 23, 1928 Height: 5-9 Weight: 172 Bats: Right Throws: Right "Chico" was an outstanding rookie of the American League in 1950 - his second year in organized baseball. Batted .282 in 141 games and numbered 21 doubles among his 148 hits. Also fielded well. Kept out of action toward end of season by a leg injury. Chico's first year in O.B. was with Fort Worth of the Texas League. There he hit .315 in 1928 games, batting in 69 runs. No. 60 in the 1951 series Baseball Picture Cards Reprint 1986 C.C.C."
