Joined them for the first time in 1947. Involved in no wins or losses, but hit a home run first time at bat in Ebbets Field. Won 20 games for Nashua in 1948. One was a no-hitter. Joined St. Paul in closing days of the season, and chalked up 4 more wins. With Montreal in 1949. Won 20. Led the INternational League in strikeouts with 176.
