The back of card number 31 in the set reads, "Roy Campanella Catcher - Brooklyn Dodgers Born: Philadelphia, Pa., Nov. 19, 1921 Height: 5-9 1/2 Weight: 190 Bats: Right Throws: Right Batted .281 in 126 games in 1950. Had 123 hits which included 19 doubles, 3 triples and 31 homers. Batted in 89 runs and scored 70. In 1949 - Roy's second year in the majors - he led NL catchers who were in 100 or more games with a fielding percentage of .985. Hit .287. Joined Dodgers mid-way in 1948.
