A 1986 Card Collectors 1951 Bowman Reprint baseball card of Pete Castiglione. The back of card number 17 in the set reads, "Pete Castiglione Infield - Pittsburgh Pirates Born: Greenwich, Conn., Feb. 13, 1923 Height: 5-11 Weight: 180 Bats: Right Throws: Right Hit .255 in 94 games for Pirates in 1950; .268 in 118 games for them in 1949. Started pro ball as a third baseman, then switched to short. Has played both positions for Pirates. Pete was playing in minors when he joined the Navy. On return (1946) hit .342 for Selma, Southeastern League. From Selma he moved to Indianapolis, where he batted .308 in 1948. No. 17 in the 1951 series Baseball Picture Cards Reprint 1986 C.C.C."
