A 1978 1948 Bowman reprint baseball card of Buddy Rosar. The back of card number 10 in the set reads, "10 - Buddy Rosar Catcher - Philadelphia Athletics Born : Buffalo, N Y. 1915 Bats : Right Throws : Right Height : 5 : 10 Weight : 170 A player who went through the entire 1946 season without making an error. Last year he caught 102 games, hit .259 and continued his superior fielding. He spent five years minors, joining the New York Yankees in 1939. In 1942, he went to the Cleveland Indians and in 1945 was traded to the Athletics to put up a performance that makes him one of the country's No. 1 players. Off-season he's a policeman.
