The back of card number 62 in the set reads, "Lou Boudreau Shortstop - Boston Red Sox Born: Harvey, Ill., July 17, 1917 Height: 5-11 Weight: 170 Bats: Right Throws: Right Playing manager of the Cleveland Indians, 1942 through 1950. In 1948 he led the Indians to the world championship. Starred at shortstop as well. Fielding .975. Hit .355 (second high in League) and drove in 106 runs. In 1951 Lou is wearing the uniform of the Red Sox. His many fans wish him a great year at Boston. Lou holds various fielding records. He is a graduate of U. of Illinois.
