The back of card number 258 in the set reads, "Luke Easter First Base - Cleveland Indians Born: St. Louis, Mo., August 4, 1921 Height: 6-4 Weight: 235 Bats: Left Throws: Right Entered organized baseball in 1949. Began the season with San Diego, Pacific Coast League. Batted .363 for 80 games. Hit 25 home runs, and drove in 92 tallies. Came up to the Indians for 21 games toward end of campaign. In 141 games for the Indians in 1950. Hit .280. Slammed 28 homers. Drove in 107 runs. Kept out of lineup by a leg injury for the first few weeks of the 1951 season.
