A 1978 1948 Bowman reprint baseball card of Herm Weheimer. The back of card number 46 in the set reads, "46 - Herman Wehmeier Pitcher - Cincinnati Reds Born : Cincinnati, O. Feb. 18, 1927 Bats : Right Throws : Right Weight : 190 Height : 6 : 2 Herman, nicknamed "Wee," is a local boy who has made good. Before starting in Organized Ball, Herman pitched American Legion ball and won 54 games before losing one. In 1945, his first year in OB, he had a record of 4 and 8 for Syracuse. In 1946 he won 17, lost 6 and had a .739 percentage, tops for regular pitchers in the South Atlantic League, where he had spent the season. Last year, back at Syracuse, he won 15 games.
