Batted .227. Drove in 14 runs. In baseball since 1935. Has played every infield position, as well as the outfield. First came to the majors in 1937 with the Senators. Finished season with Chattanooga. With Washington, 1939-1941. Has also played for the Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates. Spent 2 years with the armed forces.
