A 1986 Card Collectors 1951 Bowman Reprint baseball card of Ray Boone. The back of card number 54 in the set reads, "Ray Boone Shortstop - Cleveland Indians Born: San Diego, Calif., July 27, 1923 Height: 6 ft. Weight: 187 Bats: Right Throws: Right Succeeds Lou Boudreau at the difficult shortstop position for the Indians. Batted .301 in 109 games in 1950. Began in organized baseball in 1942. Next 3 years in the service. With Wilkes-Barre in 1946. Worked up the ladder and got a chance with Indians toward end of 1948 season. In six games for the Tribe that year, batting an even .400.
