Four Babe Ruth Goudey Baseball Cards

Description

A color slide of four 1933 Goudey Baseball cards of Babe Ruth. The cards are color illustrations of Ruth, with all four reading "GEORGE HERMAN (BABE) RUTH" in black lettering over two lines on the upper right. The card in the top left is a posed action illustration depicting him in a New York Yankees home uniform and a blue cap. He stands on a patch of dirt after completing his swing with green grass, a brown stadium wall, a blue sky, and a big yellow sun in the background. The card in the top right shows Ruth in a candid pose from the waist up, his body facing right and his head turned forward, his eyes glancing to his right. He wears his white, navy blue-pinstriped Yankees uniform but has on a brown hat. He holds a baseball bat above his waist and poses in front of a green background. The baseball card on the bottom right is another posed action shot, this one of Ruth from the waist up with the bat resting over his right shoulder as if he has just swung. He appears before a red background. The card in the lower left has the same posed action shot as the one on the lower right but with a yellow background.
