Description

An unidentified catcher crouches behind the plate and to Ruth's left. An unidentified umpire, his back to the camera and his hands clasped behind his back at his waist, stands behind the catcher. On the far right of the photo, the Boston pitcher follows through on the mound his right foot planted and part of his left leg not visible. A New York base runner is visible in the center background, and an unidentified Boston infielder stands behind and to the left of the runner. A sign advertising coffee can be seen on the left-centerfield wall. The information in the description indicated that this photo was of Ruth's third home run from a game in the 1926 World Series 10/11/26
