Description
A color slide of a baseball card from the 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set. Card number 21 in the set shows Williams holding his 1942 Sporting News Player of the Year award. He wears a Boston Red Sox home uniform with no cap and is visible from his legs up. To his left is Lieutenant R.P. Fuller. The ceremony was on July 9, 1943, at Fenway Park. The caption on the bottom of the baseball card reads, "1943 - Honors for Williams." Information written on the physical slide reads, "Cr: S. Cummings"
