Description
A slide of a 1939 Play Ball reprint Baseball Card of Ted Williams from 1988. Card number 92 in the set shows a black-and-white, full-length image of Williams in a batting pose. The photograph is taken from his left side as he completes a practice swing. His hands are behind his body, and the head of the bat is upright above his right shoulder. His body is twisted to the right with his right foot out in front and planted into the ground. His left foot is behind him and twisted to the right with the toe of the foot on the ground. He is wearing the uniform and cap of the Boston Red Sox. The words "1939 Playball Card" are written on the physical slide.
