Ted Williams Developing Photographs

Description

A color slide of a waist-up photograph of Ted Williams in the Army. The photograph is from the article "Ted Williams-Still a Big-Leager" by Marvin Koner, published in the July 18, 1953 edition of Collier's magazine.
Williams is a profile taken from his right side. He is wearing his Army khaki uniform with Captain's bars on the collar. He is studying a negative film strip he is holding up in front of him. A caption under the image reads, "Pet hobby overseas is photography. He tries to spend several hours a week shooting and developing pictures; then files the meticulously in a huge album." The words "Colliers 7/18/53" are written on the physical slide.
