From an Orphan to a King

From an Orphan to a King
By Eddie Feigner

In 1946, Eddie Feigner, an energetic, stong-armed young Marine with a world of confidence, laid down a challenge that would alter sports history forever. From that humble beginning, using only himself and three other players; a first baseman, catcher and shortstop, the King and His Court engaged full-team squads winning over 9,700 contests. Remarkably, over 200 million fans have witnessed the King pitch 930 no-hitters and marveled at his 141,000 career strikeouts. Feigner’s life story is part Hollywood, part Harlem Globetrotters, and part God-given athletic genius.
