Bruce Thompson

Bruce “Wicker” Thompson has been a SABR member since 2018. He is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, and completed a baseball analytics course from Sports Management Worldwide. He was an EMT, a former member of the Massena (New York) Fire Department and former captain of the Lake Placid (New York) Fire Department. He is also an official for the United States Biathlon Association and also served as co-chair for the New York State Biathlon. He is currently living in Terryville, Connecticut, with girlfriend Sarah and working for the utility company. In addition to this book’s article, he has enjoyed working on SABR’s media guide project.
