David Rickard

David Rickard was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Fresno. The former explains his lifelong affinity for the Dodgers, while the latter explains why the 2008 College World Series might just be his greatest baseball memory ever. He graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Journalism in 1987, then promptly moved to Portland, Oregon, where he has lived ever since. Today he works with autistic students at a local middle school. He is married to Peggy, and they have one son, Denis.
