Rod Mickleburgh
/in /by adminA reporter for more than 40 years, Rod Mickleburgh has written about sports as often as his editors have allowed, including a piece on the last home game of the Montreal Expos (sniff). Final 23 years in the business were spent at the Globe and Mail, a time which included four years as the paper’s China correspondent and co-winning the Michener Award for public service journalism. Now retired, concentrating on blogging and writing a book, he has been a die-hard fan of the Montreal Expos since watching their first game in 1969 on a small black and white television set at a friend’s “hippie commune”, the only baseball fan in the house.
