- Roland Hemond, three-time MLB Executive of the Year
- Roy Smalley III, All-Star shortstop and 13-year veteran, 1975-87
- Bob “Rocky” Johnson, 11-year veteran infielder with seven MLB teams, 1960-70
- Bill Davis, two-sport star at University of Minnesota and Indians/Padres infielder, 1965-69
- Ron Coomer, All-Star infielder who spent six of his nine MLB seasons with the Twins, 1995-2003
