SABR 43: Baseball Variety Show
SABR 43 Co-Chair Seamus Kearney will emcee and participate in the first-ever baseball-themed variety show at a SABR convention on Saturday, August 3 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown.
From 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Salon C/D room, SABR members will perform comedic skits, play baseball songs and present a comedy routine.
Baseball and the Arts Committee Chair Joanne Hulbert and others will give us her rendition of a “Saturday Night Live” News Update. Professional comedian Jerry Kahn will present an original comedy routine poking fun at the National Pastime. Professional musician Erik Balkey of the Copper Ponies will conclude the show with a few of his original baseball-related songs.
The SABR Trivia Contest will immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Salon E room.
