SABR 51: Chicago Historical Ballpark Sites Bus Tour
At this summer’s SABR 51 convention, attendees will have an opportunity to join our Chicago Historical Ballpark Sites Bus Tour to see unique sites that hosted professional and semi-professional baseball in the city for the past 150 years.
The guided bus tour is scheduled for 4:15-6:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 8. Tickets are $30 per person. Click here to reserve your seat for the tour. Space is limited.

This bus tour will leave from the Palmer House Hotel in downtown Chicago and will include drive-bys and stops at sites that may include, but are not limited to, West Side Park, West Side Grounds, Twenty-Third Street Grounds, Excelsior Park, Union Grounds, and Prairie Grounds. Participants will all receive a handout with maps and details about the sites being visited.
SABR 51 will be held on July 5-9, 2023, at the Palmer House Hotel. All baseball fans are welcome to attend. Visit SABR.org/convention to learn more or to register.
