SABR Member Benefit Spotlight: What to Expect at SABR 54
MAY 7, 2026 — As a SABR member, you have vast resources and benefits at your disposal. With so much information at your fingertips, we realize it can be overwhelming to absorb it all! To highlight key benefits, read on for this month’s SABR Member Benefit Spotlight, an email series that identifies and explains some of the most valuable features of your membership. We hope this allows you to take full advantage of all SABR has to offer. With two months before our annual convention, take a look at how to register online so you don’t miss out on our early-bird discount deadline.
SABR’s biggest event, our Annual Convention, is heading to Cleveland this summer! SABR 54 will be held at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland from July 29 to August 2, 2026, and we can’t wait to see you there. Visit SABR.org/convention to learn more.
SABR 54 will feature a Major League-sized speaker lineup we know you’ll love, alongside an invigorated social experience emphasizing SABR’s ability to unite all of us in baseball fellowship. Featured speakers include Chris Antonetti, Sandy Alomar Jr., Carlos Baerga, Mike Hargrove, Kenny Lofton, Charles Nagy, Tom Hamilton, and more!
You’ll be able to enjoy innovative panel discussions, groundbreaking research presentations, a group outing to a Guardians v. Diamondbacks game; a bus tour of historic Cleveland baseball sites; a screening and Q&A session with the writer and director of Major League, David S. Ward; a revamped SABR Trivia Contest; coffee talks, and most of all, the opportunity to make and renew baseball friendships over the course of an exciting and memorable event. We understand it may be a bit daunting without knowing exactly what to expect, but rest assured this event is a welcome gathering of the most passionate baseball fans you’ll meet anywhere. It’s a wonderful chance to celebrate our great game while making memories, building friendships, and having a blast! If you’re a veteran attendee, we can’t wait for you to take part in this invigorated convention experience!
