2025 SABR Jerry Malloy Negro League Conference Schedule

SABR’s Jerry Malloy Negro League Conference will be held on August 7-9, 2025, at the Galt House Hotel, 140 N. 4th Street in Louisville, Kentucky. All baseball fans are welcome to attend.


Thursday, August 7

  • 9:00-9:30 a.m.: Welcome
  • 9:30-11:30 a.m.: Education Forum conducted by Dr. Leslie Heaphy (Galt House)
  • 12:00-1:00 p.m.: Lunch on your own
  • 12:15-4:15 p.m.: Registration open (Galt House lobby)
  • 1:30-4:30 p.m.: Visit to Louisville Slugger Museum (800 W. Main Street) and/or Muhammad Ali Center (144 N. 6th Street)
  • 4:45-6:00 p.m.: Nashville Black Baseball film screening (Galt House)
  • 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Meet and Greet at Roots 101 African American Museum (124 N. 1st Street), with presentation by author Gary Gillette (“Jerry Malloy Conference in Perspective”)

Friday, August 8

Panels and presentations will be held at the Galt House Hotel. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
